Maxwell Hutchinson on "The Robert Elms Show" BBC Radio London
Tuesday 29th November @12 noon to 3 pm

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/p00lr458

Maxwell Hutchinson spoke at length about the current plans for the park and the buildup to the work in progress and the history of the Pleasure Gardens. In a very amusing and informed chat, with Robert Elms, he said the new entrance and the pillars were intriguing and "Pretty, well done !!" and praised DSDHA, Lambeth council and the local community at large for doing such a good job on recharging a new energy in the park....

" A most beautiful landscaped park" ...."already having a great impact on the local area..."

The Royal Vauxhall Tavern gets a mention as does The Tea House House Theatre and the plans for Cabinet to build a gallery.

All in all this was a great pat-on-the-back for everyone involved in the re-landscaping of the park entrance
